SlowStop was invented in Belgium by the same inventors as the Hervules Bollard. Hercules was a successful product that also allowed a bollard to tilt when impacted, but it was complicated and expensive. Formerly known in Europe as SoftStop, the SlowStop Bollard has been extensively tested by testing firm TUV Rheinland TNO and is proven through a large installation base. With Worldwide patents and patents pending, the SlowStop Bollard is now available worldwide exclusively from SlowStop Guarding Systems, LLC and its distributors. It’s product line-up has been expanded to provide a wide range of industrial guarding such as guardrail, corner protection, rack end guard, and column protection.
